Sky Sports are now reporting that the asset-stripping is continuing in earnest, with us about to land the oxymoronic hairy Brazilian.

Will have a look. I'm not into vampires though, neither books films or shows.

It's not really about vampires as such, in the way we normally associate them, more about the build up and then the post apocalyptic world, much like Walking Dead.

If you want an easy experience of the arab world, first go to Tunisia, Sinai peninsula/Egypt or Morocco. Dubai is old hat, so try Oman. Don't go to Yemen, rebel country and very boring.

I was hoping more middle east than Africa though.

Def don't go to Yemen, probably second only to Somalia in terms of lawlessness and HQ to Al Queda Arab Penninsula....

It's a massive shame the area's the way it is. There's some fascinating places, with amazing history and culture. They could make a fortune out of tourism if they weren't so bloody unstable and didn't wanted to behead us....

Spent a lot of time in the Middle East on business.
Saudi is one of the worst of the lot - no drink unless your on the ex-pat compounds, you won't see any women just blokes, there are tons of sheesha bars and the Saudis hate every fecka in the western world.
Muscat is nice, close to the beach. Clear waters and sands and people generally friendly.
Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Bahrain very similar but again no drinking.
Dubai is probably the most relaxed next to Isreal who again are hated by the Saudis.
I could go on but the ME is an eye-opener.
