Exactly! It does take a bit of time to get back to form after a long time out. Nani is a confidence player, and if fans get on his back straight away he's got no chance.

We all know what he's capable of so why not lay off him a bit and hope he does find his form sooner rather than later?

Ateast he's trying, instead of just standing on his wing. He just needs to sharpen up a bit

There's no need for that...

Firstly, being rusty and/or injured is no excuse for being a selfish b'stard.

Nor is it an excuse for consistently making poor decisions.

If Nani "lacks confidence" then why try to take on the entire opposition team instead of just passing the ball? If anything he seemed far too cocky to me.
