Firstly, they are 3 points behind us so if we lose we will be level with pool in the table (barring goal difference). That will bring them right back into contention for 4th spot along with spurs and Everton.
After this game, our fixture list, well on paper, doesn't look as daunting as what we have had over the last month. Yes I'm fully aware we could drop points anywhere but as a team we rely a lot on momentum. A positive result v pool would really help going into those games.
Also, the game is a day before transfer deadline. If we lose than maybe Wenger may have to re-evaluate his stance on not signing players in Jan. However, if we win than we might as well get an early night on Thursday
As for the game, when they faced united, Fergie set them up in such a way that pool had zero space and were closed down at every junction.
We obviously only know how to play one way so I see the game being very open and potentially high scoring. Under BR pool like to play the passing game and we will undoubtedly give them the freedom to do so.
All in all, Wednesday night game should be an exciting one. Our recent results v pool at the emirates have not been great and hopefully we can muster up the 3 points somehow!
A lot riding on Liverpool game!

Nah, he'd just try and dig his way from the Emirates to.....The Emirates (UAE)
We need Diaby on coke.

I'd like to see what kind of player Rosicky is when he's not on coke.

Hope Arsene sticks some meth in Diaby's water bottle before kick off.

I hope not. Diaby has a tendency to forget where the opposing goal is and he could very well attack our own defence. Thats when he is sober.

Shouldn't have lost to Norwich, Schalke, Swansea or Bradford either but this is Arsenal

Maybe you should watch the away game where we comfortably beat them 2-0.

Yeah I did and pool had plenty of the ball as we did

Wasn't the Rodgers' 3rd game in charge. He wasn't going to get them playing overnight. They pass and move the ball a lot quicker and efficiently now than they did a few months back.
The big worry for me is Gerrard, he has never really done the business against us in the past but he is bang in form at the moment, could be the difference maker.

Was Merse a better or worse player when he was on it?

I fear Liverpool. They are unpredictable. We must keep Suarez calm and cut him from services from their midfield. We must be very clinical upfront.
I am worried.
