Good from US tour/Poss Season finish

There were a few negatives to come out of the tour:

E£nrique bleating

Ben Arfa's injury (is he just a little bit of a wuss, or just unlucky? (I don't think the double break is a bit wussy by the way)

The good?:

Tavernier looks a better bet than Simpson

Mehdi Arbeid

Vuckic

Dan Gosling

Although we don't have a new forward, apart from Ba (and the rumours include possibly Erdinc, Defoe, the lanky one, Crouch, and various others) we still have an exciting season to look forward to.

I think E£nrique is definitely on his way, just wish it would be sooner rather than later now, if he isn't staying then get rid and get in someone else or play Ferguson/Dummet instead.

I really think we should give some of our younger lads a go. Could they really do worse than when E£nrique first arrived? His first season was pretty bad, if we hadn't stuck with him then he would have gone down as another Xisco (who by the way, I think should be given more time to show himself, I think he could be a decent player who just hasn't been given enough play time.).

Can we do better than the likes of Liverpool and Villa? Possibly, but the Mackems look to have done a good bit of buying this summer, particularly Vaughan and Gardner.

We can't match the likes of Arsenal, Manure, Chelski, Man Sheikhy, Spurs, but surely will be above QPR, Swansea and Norwich.

We will be fighting to be above the likes of Wigan, WBA, Sunderland, Stoke, Wolves, Fulham, Everton, Bolton and Blackburn.

I can see Blackburn possibly imploding. Bolton, Everton, Fulham and Stoke usually hard to beat, although Stoke have European games along with Fulham which might distract them.

As long as we finish mid-table or above I will be happy really. I know that doesn't seem very positive, but my sights are possibly more realistic nowadays, with our lack of cash etc. But I still think this could be an exciting season, and I'm holding out for between 7th and 10th.

£nrique? I think that's rather cheap low blow, he's given Newcastle 3/4 years of his prime when he could of been easily playing in Champions League.

If he didn't care i doubt he'd of expressed his opinion so boldly and with passion on twitter to what's going on behind the scene at nufc. His kind of loyalty, and is rare in nowadays.

What happens when Ba and some other fringe player come in as replacement for strikers position when you lot were promised all of the £35M would be used to buy top players.

So far Cabaye, Marveaux and Ba. Sounds like you lot are being taken for mugs by your greasy fingered Chairman, again.

He obviously wants away (really loyal) and so is going about it in a way to try to say to the fans "look at how badly I'm being treated, I'm only getting £50 grand a week, how can they be so awful to me?"

He can see the obvious advances we've made last season and the players we've brought in so far, obviously showing some ambition, so he is obviously after more dosh. One of his bleats was about the amount of money we have offered to improve his wages, so that says it all really.l

No we weren't, we were promised the money would stay in Newcastle United and were told it meant wages, ground and Academy improvements etc. Get your facts right mate. Although as an Arsenal fan you have probably been moaning about Arsene Wenger, so I wouldn't expect too much sense from you.
