Speak of the Devil, Fawaz has just said "Rome wasn't built in a day, we need to stay together etc etc", and quick as a flash some wag posted the Brian Clough Rome quote!
Maybe this means he accepts that promotion this season isn't realistic. Hope so.

I trust him in the way that I think he has the right intentions for the club - I don't trust him when it comes to his decision making and football brain

Wish he'd accepted it a month ago - might've still stood a chance if he had.

I trusted Jeremy Keith for about a week.
I know I rip into the supporters of fridgewaz over the sub-zero sheikh, but knowing my luck he will prove to be a philanthropist on the scale of Andrew Carnegie.

I trust the Al Hasawis/Fawaz and their intentions. If they were up to no good they would have used front men to purchase the club.
I think their plan from the start was a bit too simple but as good a starting point as any, employ a manager that knows this league and has had some success in getting teams promoted out of it and then back him with funds.
Before we knew which Championship club Fawaz was going to buy he stated in an interview that he wanted Neil Warnock to manage the club,so he is not clueless and understands the importance of having a manager that knows this league.
For one reason or another they could not land any of the managers at the top of their list.

Hoons "I agree bob. He needs to show some intent though. We could've bought Boyd and Burke for the cost of 2 big screens and rolling advertising boards"
I don't believe it was an either/or option! The thing is advertising board and giant TV companies don't negotiate and refuse to sell.
For what it's worth I don't mistrust their motives. I do think they look worryingly like they don't know what they're doing though.

Bristol City are are One-nil up against, guess who ?Watford. Even if they don't win they've still managed to score......

2-0, Anderson got the second one. Bristol City would appear to have appointed a decent manager.

It's interesting to note that Watford made half a dozen changes tonight. Of course, there are two ways of looking at that. Either they paid Forest the ultimate compliment by playing their strongest team and then rested them tonight, or perhaps it was the other way around.
