Just wanted to say much respect to the lad. He had his very promising career ripped away from him and when given the chance of a decent pay day to help him and his family's future be a litte more comfortable, he has chosen to give half the proceeds of his testamonial to Oxfam.
This is truely a humble gesture on his part and I think sums up the kind of person he is. He may be a member of the other side of the divide, but i think this shows that dosn't make them bad people.
I for one salute you Mr Kennedy, and wish you well for the future, wherever it may take you.
John Kennedy

Good shout Broxy, sad to see that happen to any young prospect, no matter who they play for.

Well said, he really looked like he was destined for Celtic and Scotland greatness.
Defo be the captain of both by now.
Im glad celtic have treated him well, and now i think he is working with youngsters and scouting networks

Glad to hear he's not been abandonded. I'd hope rangers would do the same if something similar happened to one of our lads.

Nice gesture by him I agree. I played in the Football Aid game at Celtic Park the past 2 years and he's shown up to speak with us all after the game etc. Nice guy, shame the way things ended up.
If able to play he would walk into our current defence I must say.
