As pleased as I am with both signings that were made yesterday, as with the England team you can have the men, but without the tactics and a meaningful game plan it amounts to almost nothing.
Peschisolido has been financially backed again by Ben; now is the time he has to come up with the goods. From where I'm watching this could be the making or breaking of our manager and, despite my usual overall gloomy outlook, I really do hope that he makes a success of things.
Over To You Now Pesch....

I think that is a fair assesment of the situation. Has any body heard any more on the bid for Jamie Vardy from FC Halifax Town ?

I reckon that he will be our final signing terraceman. I have no evidence for that but I just think he will be.
I can't wait for the season to start.

As you all know i am not an admirer of Pesc.Spot on he has been backed by the chairman and i hope things work out for him and prove me wrong about his ability.I must admit i can feel good vibes about the coming season and just hope we dont end up with a situation like last season, SURELY NOT ???

In terms of what has gone on this summer, the backing of the manager debate has several dimensions and it is up to you which you choose to give the most weight to;
a) Mr Robinson supporting Pesch - plain and simple. He has done it before as our wage bill was a lot last year.
b) Pesch offloading players and creating the space and capacity in his budget. Gilroy and Jackson were never going to stay but he could have offered something to Walker and Young (glad he didn't).
c) Step forward one Kevin Poole. Recommended a 'keeper, coached him for a year and turned in a £200,000 profit.
