Well 1 day left of the transfer window and nowt’s happening boys and girls I got slated by Dorito and his Crew when I said we would not make a signing this January ain't that right Jonty
Still living in hope we sign a speedy winger and a creative midfielder . But Colin seems to be hell bent an having 5 strikers instead !!

I agree Jonty as soon as people realise GFH and Bates are one in the same the better.

Clarkey, one of teh theoorires I've put forward is that Bates has been retained till end of season and given presidency as a thank you, for showing GFH how to get the money out of the club and make the accounts look similar to previous years.
If as many of us believe, Bates has been taking money out of the club then surely next set of accounts from 'honest gfh' would suddenly show big profit, but if they look the same then either they're following Bates rules or we genuinely are such a poorly run club that we will never make any money again.
I don't think Bates is part of GFH, but I believe that there are certain payments still to be made and if gfh dont make them then club reverts to Bates.
Until we are completely rid of Bates I struggle to see how the club will move forwards especially when the club starts saying it;'s not so dependant on success on the pitch, because that means investing in success on the pitch is no longer a priority.

BBC Radio Norfolk understands that Leeds striker Luciano Becchio is in Norwich to discuss personal terms. The 29-year-old Argentine has scored 19 goals from 31 games in all competitions this season. He handed in a transfer request last week after failing to agree terms on a new deal at Elland Road.

If the newbies are doing what people have said, and paying the mess that Leeds have some how found themselves in, then I cant see any gfh's accounts showing profit!..
That could be a reason why all the talk before was about getting the team ready for the fight, and now we're seeing the same old same, the moneys being used on other things!....if there's any there that is...
The only thing we can do is hope for this season and pray for next!..

The player-plus-cash switch is now edging closer to completion, meaning Millwall's Kenny Jackett's hopes of re-signing the Wales international are fading fast ahead of Thursday's transfer deadline.
However, Jackett had reservations about the deal after learning that Morison has a hamstring niggle and was set to wait until the loan window opened next month before stepping up his interest.

Morison scoring rate is way to low for me so wouldn't want him

Jonty. It's always been a non starter.Warnock promising new additions to the squad. They knew we were all looking to the January window,so guess what...We will be selling Becchio,so that should take their minds off not signing anyone. They will be too busy discussing the ins and outs of that little diversion.Lets have a look at the transfer activity....err...Nothing,Zero,None,Zilch...Seems all too familiar. If we sign someone now it will have to be one hell of player to make some ground up in the league. We have just gone through another transfer window doing exactly what we have done before. We have been linked with a number of players, but nothing has transpired. It keeps us thinking we were interested I suppose.Smacks of Bates don't you think?.

They've just announced on Sky that Becchio could be on his way to Norwich in exchange for Morison...?
That's something happening and in truth a decent bit of business if correct.
