So guys ( Lydneyian )
Whats your thinking here?

This flies in the face of the saffa tactics of hiding your players away in cotton wool and pretending their injured. hahaha
England trial leaves bodies battered...

I think that's the sensible option. There's not many teams who would miss an individual loss through injury more than the benefit of battle hardening the whole squad.
Apart from us and Henson. If he chips a nail we're smegged.

ohhhhhhhh F.F.S gecko....
Henson! i swear to all mighty Christ above i will delete a henson comment that is not a joke!
im not religious but i need to be when i hear that name!
That fool of a took has no impact on any of the home nations. he is not a factor. it is not a subject for discussion, it is and will be a moot point. that is an infectious name in rugby and if ur welsh............
For the love of all that is good about our sport!
DROP IT! DROP HIM!
He is not involved! He is not a factor! he is a non quantity. he is useless, he is a journeyman, he is a hasbeen, NO im wrong he is a never wasbeen.
he is a (insert expletive here ) bloody bingo advertisement!
GET OVER HIM!

Haha, so I don't need to point out that comment was tacked on in gest?
Seriously, good on the England lads for fitting in a proper competitive game of sorts. The warm up matches are starting next week aren't they? I think this would prepare a side much better at this point when it's been a while since anyone's played a proper game.

Im all for it - no point as you say in going down the cotton Wool road - as for the warm ups - you know my point of view Dingbat - there is no such thing as a "friendly" in our sport - I hope we play to win whilst trying the odd player from a cover point of view and testing a few new gameplans - we should still kick our pointsa nd play hard and fair - Morale should never be underestimated

Yep i agree. thats the way to prepare. I don't know what England are looking like in terms of form but judging from the attitude toward the build up. they are looking good!
I suppose the proof will be in the next few weeks. we will see how good they are.
Im looking forward to the Build up game against us the winner of that game is gona go forward with alot of momentum.... U boys gona be looking for revenge me thinks...

Poor planning on the RFU part if you ask me - Ireland away is not a great idea without a return game to allow for evening the odds - on the other hand - if we Win - it will be massive

Who else you play? France i presume... We play france twice away and home. so if you think that the RFU are guilty of poor planning i reckon the same could be said for the IRFU. France just have the hoodo over us. and 2 losses would not be a good thing. Still if that happens we will have the chance to redeem ourselves in the final prep match against you guys.
Certainly we are set for a full on build up. which on the whole is a good thing i guess. Well going on your theory and not the PDV theory.
Looking like its gona be a cracking game next week between Oz and the Kiwis... really looking forward to that one.
