restoring some of our dented pride last night with a splendid away draw in europe. At least one of scotland's teams is helping with the co-efficient.

Utd did more for the co-efficient by winning a game than Hearts did by drawing last night.

"Utd did more for the co-efficient by winning a game" well logically they also did more than the ragers - who lost at home of course.
And, Hearts also did more than the ragers.

Absolutely Tully and yet Rangers have still done more for Scotland than any other tam over the past 5 seasons so one wee off night can be forgiven.

Westend - you can have as many nights-off as you like mate

Well it is about time that other teams in Scotland started picking up some slack. Why should we have to make up for Celtic's and other scottish teams failings in Europe every year.

Cheers Tully, very gracious of you. I'd rather we didn't if it's all the same, however i've said elsewhere that the EL is the standard Rangers and Celtic are at these days.
At least there we could both realistically look to progress from our groups. You get the same points for a win in the EL as the CL too which i've always thought was not fair but we could use to our advantage if that's where we end up.

Westend - yep I think you are being realistic there and I agree. The E:L is still a good competition - it only becomes a diddy league when you guys get to the final....
