McFadden on loan

Hmm, an unfit striker. Is that what we need? He's a good player and can play wide left but Cox already covers both of those positions.

We don't need another striker or another loanee.
It's all well and good saying he can play wide left, but he's not a natural wide player and that is what we need!

According to the Sunderland web site he will be here on a one month long loan. Doesn't really make much sense to me. So now we have 5 central strikers and 5 central midfielders, but hardly any wide men or a left back.

I can't believe this. Would an unfit striker get in ahead of the four strikers we already have. Even if he was fit he wouldn't get in. We could have stuck with Derbyshire.

An unfit striker on a month's loan is surely completely screwball logic. By the time he's fit he will back in the NE.
