Butland to Stoke/consequent speculation

It appears likely that Birmingham GK Butland, who rejected a transfer to Chelsea on the grounds that he wants to be a regular starter, will be moving to Stoke. Thus, it may be possible that Stoke's GK, Begovic will be moving somewhere else, and he has recently been linked a few clubs bigger than Stoke. Barcelona's Valdes is purportedly moving somewhere, and Barca has reportedly been interested in Reina, so there's a possibility that Begovic goes to Liverpool, and Reina goes to Barca.

If any of this speculation bears out, it will have meant that we missed out on Butland, who would have been our backup GK in place of Turnbull and Hilario, but that Barca will probably keep their grubby hands off Cech's eventual replacement, Courtois!
