Interesting..
Provoked by a post from a fellow Baggies fan on New606 asking where some of the old BBC606 friends had gone I have taken a peep again at the alternative sites JA... and 12...
I had not realised how active JA606 has become and so will spend more time on here posting and contributing in the future - any names out there I would remember or remember me?
The shame is that New606 which takes a different and enjoyable approach with formatting and colour options for posting, is dominated (In the Premiership section) by West Brom fans. The same is true of 12Yards but the dominant fans are Wolves - both sites have very limited coverage across the other Premiership clubs.
Weirdly, on here the West Brom and Wolves fans seem to be the only ones that are absent and not posting on a daily basis!
Personally, I miss the inter club conversations but I value highly the relationship I have built up with fellow Albion posters and so my ideal is that the owners of the 3 boards, bury the hatchet, and come up with a plan that pulls the best of all sites together under a new single football chat forum which we can all gather under and help develop into a good commercial platform for advertisers to be interested in sponsoring it and enabling its further growth and securing its future.
Finally - hints and tips - e.g. how to post an article that all Premiership Clubs can see?
Is JA606 the best place to be?

Evening Stairs,
This is the best place to be.
Could you drag your fellow Baggies over here as it would be nice for our Birmingham contingent to restore the great communication we had on BBC 606 - especially given todays goalkeeping news.
The entire BCFC community from bbc 606 is here on ja606.

I wish I had that level of influence - people have become rooted and loyal to the site they found and have become accustomed to.
Only a few seem to flit about as I am prepared to do -although to be fair I spend most of my energy on new606 because of the neat editing features (on BBC606 I could at least bold, italic and underline).
When that is replicated here, it will help draw others in.
Best would be for JA606 management to come to a deal with 23yards etc. - will never happen

The delete and comment buttons are too big and out of proportion with the rest on the page - I'd reduce them but keep them outlined for emphasis

I think you're right aka stairs this site seems the best to me and i hope more West Brom fans come over, cant see 12 yards lasting with only three clubs contributing to the site it seems doomed at this stage.New 606 is pretty good but overall this site as more sets of fans using it and when the season starts the banter will be better on here.

The important thing to us and the majority of our members is that they are functional. We don't have the aesthetics issues such as the few that you mentioned high up on our to do list. Feel free to create a word document with your gripes and email us it in a few months.

Bobbygouldscoffin (and any other Albion/Wolves fans) - it is important to keep posting so that when someone looks at the site they see something happening on their club board - nothing worse than with all the speculation about at the moment to see no-one has posted for over a week!

Admin1 - very defensive, chill man - just airing a few thoughts, not gripes. I have taken to the site and will now try to encourage debate between West Brom and Wolves fans and hopefully build the membership up!

I agree with you fully aka
I think its gone too far as the name of this site and 12Yards are forbid on the New 606 and appear as **** , however the other side of it is, i bet Hartja is fed up of all the arguements and wants to focus on his site, which he has done a great job with!
