Manchester United have won five and lost none of their last six Premier League matches against Fulham.

Wayne Rooney has scored four goals in his last four Premier League appearances against Fulham.

Manchester United have won five and lost none (D2) of their last seven Premier League games away in London.

Dimitar Berbatov has scored in three of the four previous occasions he has played in this fixture, while a Manchester United player.

The Bulgarian scored 48 goals in 108 Premier League games for Manchester United before moving south to Fulham in the summer and was on the scoresheet for the Red Devils the last time Man Utd played at Craven Cottage.

Manchester United have lost just one of their last 11 Premier League away games (W8 D2 L1), but have kept just two clean sheets in that run.

Six of Dimitar Berbatov's eight Premier League goals for Fulham have come before half-time.

Damien Duff has seven assists this season, only three players in the Premier League have more.

United’s total of 27 comeback points this season has only been bettered by one team in PL history (Newcastle with 34 in 2001-02)

Fulham have gone 10 games without keeping a clean sheet, while Man Utd have scored in each of their last 12 games, both the longest current runs of their kind in the Premier League.

Sir Alex Ferguson is intending to make changes for United. Rio Ferdinand is line for a recall and fellow defender Jonny Evans is back after a hamstring injury. Ashley Young (knee) is still out as Ferguson's men look to open up a 10-point lead on Manchester City, who do not play until Sunday.

Alex Ferguson (Manchester United): "The effort Southampton put in on Wednesday is a reminder to us that you get three points for every game, not just for beating teams at the top of the league. We've had great examples of that over the years. Last year we lost to Blackburn Rovers at home. You could quite easily say that cost us the league. I don't expect my players to be complacent, but Wednesday is obviously a great reminder."

Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov will miss Saturday's clash against former club United with an injury. The Bulgarian pulled his hamstring in the 3-1 defeat of West Ham and will be out for up to 10 days for the Cottagers, who will also be without Steve Sidwell, Mahamadou Diarra (both knee), Kerim Frei (pelvis) and Kieran Richardson (calf). AC Milan loanee Urby Emanuelson could make his debut, although fellow deadline-day signings Stanislav Manolev and Eyong Enoh are unavailable as they wait for their work permits.

Martin Jol (Fulham): "We had a few targets, a few positions we wanted to strengthen - on the left and defensive midfield - and in the end it came off so I was quite happy. My first choice target was probably Fernando Gago from Real Madrid because they wanted to get rid of him, but we couldn't get that sort of quality. Urby Emanuelson is a player I know well, comes from AC Milan and is no mug so I was quite happy to get him. I was talking to a player from my old club Spurs, Tom Huddlestone, but that didn't come off and [Eyong] Enoh was here already because you can't bet on one horse. Huddlestone was very close. They pulled out at the last moment so I was very happy Enoh was in the building and there was no damage done."
