Dunno if it's been done, but a fellow Spurs fan here in Thailand sent me the following:
The deadline day is over
Thank god because I had enough
We will never know the ins and outs
So why is the abuse so rough
Lets go back a little while
When we had players like booth and dozzell
Compare them now to moussa and bale
Are we really moving backwards pray tell
We never rated jenas
So hes gone to Harry's crew
Gomes was a big money earner
So off to Germany he flew
Yes it was disappointing
that no forward joined the ranks
But for a new stadium and top 4 status
Daniel levy I would say thanks
Twitter went into melt down
With some ridiculous comments made
Why we not signed a striker
Why has there be no forward raid
Fans handing back season tickets
Call for levy to walk
Please be careful what you ask for
Listen to Blackburn fans talk
So in all the word is just fickle
And some fans just don't get the plan
Thank god the spurs poet fan base
Are clued up and not involved in the scam
We still can get the finish we wanted
We have a squad good enough to compete
And a fan of the mighty Tottenham hotspur
The members of the lilywhite elite
Disappointment and anger
Common sense and sad dreams
Delusional ambitions
Way above our means
Lets look at the true bigger picture
Don't be sucked in by the overboard views
If they all had a insight to football
Then they would be hosting with jim on sky sports news
Tottenham are not about oil kings
Or Russians with money to play
Tottenham are a club with tradition
And will return to their glory hey day
So forget about the striker
Forget about the past deadline day
Tottenham will last forever
And onwards to west brom we play
I'm Tottenham till I die
Tottenham till I die
I know I am
I'm sure I am
I'm Tottenham till I die
Deadline Day Is Over

‘Will we win our game in hand ?’
The question on everyone’s lips.
But what is this thing, this game in hand,
Does it even exist ?
The thing occurs at a point in time,
When one team has played one less,
Than the other teams, who are...around them more or less.
But what puzzles and confuses me, and often does confound me,
Is the question of which game it is, that is the one that's left.
in fact upon review one finds, there is no 'game in hand' as such
all of the remaining games in fact, matter just as much
it's true one team may be less advanced upon their fixture list
but the notion of the game in hand remains as just scotch mist.
