It's back! JA606 Last Man Standing 2012-13 is underway.
Last Man Standing is a sports prediction game open to all.
Round 1 is now open for this year.

How it works

* Each poster begins the game with 3 lives
* Each week, I will post a choice of 5 sporting events. You have to predict the outcome of ONE of the events. Sky Bet odds are provided to help you with your prediction
* If your prediction wins, you keep all your lives. If your prediction loses, you lose a life. If a match is drawn, you lose a life. If you do not submit a prediction by the deadline, you lose a life
* I will collate the results and post them at the end of each weekend along with the next weekend's fixtures, giving people at least 5 days to get their predictions in
* Results will be published at http://606lastmanstanding.yolasite.com - this currently shows last season's final table - can TheHateCamel defend his crown?
* There will be occasionally an opportunity to gain a life back with a Brucie Bonus round - to keep everyone involved as long as possible
* The last poster left with any lives is the 2nd JA606 Last Man Standing Champion

Last season's competition was a great success, lasting just over three months, with over 100 posters involved.

I'm starting a couple of weeks earlier this season as we were scraping the barrel a bit with sporting events in late May last year.

It's easy to play, and you can put as much or as little thought as you like into your predictions. I hope you get involved.
