Simply, what would your starting 11 be for Burnley next week and why? We're running out of patience with a lot of these players

Golden - I have coincidentally created a very similar thread about DF going more attacking. I think 4-3-3 is unlikely because he is a cautious manager. So I guess your team, but with either Eagles or Lee instead of Ngog or Cravies.
And def Lonergan!!!

Good teams from all like GG and Bennys sides need some big changes,I like both sides maybe Vela for Sordell to start the game.

TRR - don't you think it's time to go 4-2-2?
This league is much more open than the Prem. all the top teams attack as the best form of defence!!!

Lonergan deserves his chance after his cup performances. He looks like he commands the area much better than Bogbrush which automatically reassures the defenders in front of him. Both are good shot stoppers but Lonergans handling is slightly better, from what i've seen.

I don't really know what our best option is, to be honest. This inconsistency doesn't make picking a team an easy task. I think they would benefit from DF reciting the poem on the other thread!
I'm happy with Sordells current scoring record - which he has mostly achieved up top on his own. I'd pack the midfield because I think it's important to retain posession and all those midfielders should be capable of that.
The defence is still my biggest worry, even more so in that no matter which combination I could think of, they all involved Zat Knight.

Just a thought............
Benny mentions ditching the wingers, going 442.
Say we do this, coupled with narrowing the pitch by five yards.
Big Sam used all the advantages he could, the Reebok is Dougies tool to hone as he thinks will serve Bolton best.
Deny teams the space they exploit so often against us.
Worth a try for four or five games?

I could be wrong (going off Football Manager here) but don't you have to declare a pitch size at the start of the season and then stick with it- short of exceptional circumstances such as moving stadium mid-season.
