He's a very good player, the fact he's english and plays for arsenal leads to comments like the one's above, he'll probably be sold in a year or two for around £25m if he keeps progressing.

Imagine the reaction if we sold him in the summer. Fans would go nuts, he's the shining light in a pretty bleak outlook for the fans.

Of course we'd go ballistic if we flogged him off, especially to United. It was hard to stomach van Persie going there, but Wilshere going to United would just make me explode!

Honestly though he's a top player and it would be devastating to see us sell him just because the club want to make a profit every year. You can't keep selling your best players and replacing them with worse ones and then keep expecting to get away with it!
