From that comment, im guessing you're not 1 of them
.............
Depends on who I am dealing with.
If it is a poster willing to debate football, then I will do likewise. This is rare for Arsenal fans on here, there are only one or two I know of.
If it is a dicksplash like Serial or Petey, I will treat them with contempt, and ridicule them, because it's fun.

I'd have them all apart from Theo to be honest. Hernandez is ideally suited to United in that we do not need someone who is creative - we have plenty of those types of players.
To be honest, it is a bit of an insult to put Theo up alongside RVP, Suarez and Aguero, who are all at a level that he will never reach. I do still like Theo as a striker though and I hope he partners Rooney tomorrow.
==========================================
I wasnt putting Theo on those strikers level, i was just pointing out all the players on that list that i would have over Chicarito, hence the etc, but if you want i could list them all;
I would have Tevez, Mata, Rooney, Hazard, Ba, Gerrard, Fellaini, Bale, Cazorla & Michu over Chicarito
Its ok, we had the same issue with Utd fans in regards to RVP for years!
1 day you'll accept Theo for the quality player he is, hopefully it wont be cos he joins Utd
Lets leave the bias aside for 1 min, Theo is better than Chicarito as a striker.
He actually has better technique than Chicarito & that says a lot
-----------------------------------------
I don't think that there is much between Theo and Hernandez to be fair. But as I said, I'd take Hernandez over Theo at United as he suits or needs perfectly - he is a poacher, although his all round game has improved this season and he brings others into play better.
To say that Theo is the better striker is ridiculous to me to be honest. He has played the majority off his games out wide and still has to prove that he can do it at a striker on a regular basis. I think that he will do that, but as yet, it is a bit of a flash in the plan. Hernandez has proven that he is a 1 in 2 striker playing for one of the biggest teams in the world. He also has an international record of 28 goals in 43 games. Theo has just 4 international goals I believe? I think that it is you that needs to put the bias aside for a moment and take a look at the facts. Theo has so far proven very little as a striker. Lets just hope his good form continues (from an England fan point of view).

@ Statman J:
You make some very valid points & it is unfair & inaccurate to suggest that Theo is a better striker than Chicarito based on half a season
But you have to agree that Theo has better all round game
Chicarito and im not being harsh apart from his finishing, is a pretty bad footballer
Thats 1 of the reasons players like Wellbeck will always start ahead of him & at a club like United he'll always be a sub at best

Yeh I agree that Theo has a better all round game, but will that make him a better striker? Not so sure.
Hernandez has actually improved his all round game a lot this season, which he needed to do after a largely disappointing season last year. Not sure how much you have seen of him, but to say he will never be more than a sub is a bit of a lazy assessment to me. It might have washed last season, but for me Hernandez has shown this season that he has stepped up to the next level. From the 16 games he has started for us this season, he has scored 11 goals and got 4 assists. Not to shabby for someone that will never be more than a sub eh?
You seem to be the typical Arsenal fan who likes to bash Hernandez; spouting off the tired old lines, without actually knowing the facts.
Oh and by the way, Hernandez has started just as many games as Welbeck this season - 16. It is RVP and Rooney that are keeping them both out of the team.

@ Statman J:
I actually like Chicarito, but ive got friends & family members who support Man Utd & they are the ones who informed me of his weaknesses.
Chicarito might have started the same amount of games as Welbeck but we both know that, if Man utd have a big game & SAF(or even yourself) had to choose 1 striker from Welbeck or Chicarito(even though Chicarito has the better scoring ratio) Welbeck will 95% of the time get the nod
And That's because Welbeck gives more to the team.
And if you cant accept that then i give up

I understand that Welbeck offers more to the team, but what he offers isn't required in every game. Hence the reason that he has started just as many games as Hernandez - they have been picked dependant on SAF's game plan.
Whether I would pick Welbeck or Hernandez for a specific game can't be answered without knowing the specifics of the game. Is it a home game against an open team like Arsenal, or a tough CL match away at a defensive Italian team? Will the opponents push up so we can hit them on the counter, or will they sit deep, which will require a striker that can hold up the ball?
In some instances you require a striker who isn't particularly prolific, but that can keep hold of the ball and bring others into play. In other instances you want a player that can exploit the space on the pitch and get on the end of chances created by his team mates.
So Welbeck will give more to the team in some instances. In others Hernandez will give more.

Yes, Welbeck great all round game, needs to work on end product.
Chich, great finisher needs to work on game.
Currently Welbeck is better suited to the big games.
I'd also say Welbeck has more potential to be a top player even though he has really struggled for goals/assist this season.

If you actually look at Hernandez's goals return against the bigger PL teams, it is pretty good. He doesn't always play on them, but when he does, he often scores. He has got about 5 or 6 against Chelsea, including one in the CL QF. He has also scored against the big countries at international level, including Spain, Brazil, Holland, France and Argentina.
