David Twàt will always be my number 1 choice for this particular accolade. However, with just 1 victory during his monumentally unforgettable tenure. The question is simple. Is McLeish the worst manager we've ever had!?!
Worst manager ever!!!

Davies
Best:

Davies
Hart
Calderwood

I think that's harsh on O'Driscoll - he was doing okay, and wasn't given time to really show what he could do. No way he should appear in a list of 'worst' managers. Especially not over Calderwood. AND MCLAREN IS NOT IN YOUR WORST LIST?????????????

Ha yeah I forgot McLaren, I must have wiped the idiot from my mind! O'Driscoll didn't have time to fail or impress so he has to appear on the list somewhere. Calderwood was awful but he did get us promoted. Happy to swap those two around if you insist SHH.

I think you're showing a huge bias having Davies on the worst list. I didn't like him but he did well for us although the way he ran things meant your future was hardly assured - then again we can say that about all our recent managers.
Megson is by far the worst, Kinnear, McClaren, McCleish and Atkinson run him close. They make Calderwood and Platt look positively decent.

Davies deserves to be on both lists - seeing as I created the list, it's impossible not to show bias. I've said Davies is our third best since Clough and I think that's fair.
How do the reigns of Megson et all make Platt look positively decent?

Platt ran the club into the ground. And Cannigia, don't swap anything on my account. I'm just presenting my usual angry opinions.

Yeah but I think you're probably right on that swap.

Prat and Mc's worst ever!

Whatever you think of McLeish, you can't judge him on 7 games!
(Well, obviously you can, but it doesn't mean anything. Would have won at Derby and Brum if we'd taken our chances, drastically changing his points-per-game record).

Well, the OP didn't mention post Clough, so for this old 'un, the worst Forest manager ever, including your Platts, Megsons and all, has to be MATT GILLES!!!!!
