Just watch this clip from the last episode of Raw and Brad Maddox launching a pipebomb that rocked the entire WWE universe setting in motion a new era with Maddox as the new Austin.
OK, it wasn't that special but it was a decent promo that made me laugh, especially the Bane reference at the end.
Maddox and The Shield are part of the future.

Triple H is apparently a big supporter of Hennig and The Rock is also speaking up for him after training with him so I could see him possibly getting a push.
Possibly becoming the Intercontinental champion if/when Barrett moves up.
