The Right decision

I think the owners thought the "stature" of AMc would, apart from further improve the teams performance, allow better players to be signed by Forest.

After the uninspiring loan signings by AMc of Elliot Ward & Zara he brought in Henderson & clearly wanted Boyd, Ward(Wolves) & Burke. These players are at best no better than those who are already here(many would say in some cases worse) & got us close to the top 6.

One win in seven, very average signings or targeted signings, along with uninspiring press interviews & reports, I think showed the owners that they had made a huge mistake in bringing in AM.

So do you leave it be or rectify it?

The answer happened yesterday & I for one am delighted.

Is this article a joke?

Burke scored two against us on Saturday?!?

Who do you think we should be signing? Jara looks like a good signing to me! AM will be choosing from the same lot of players any other manager will be. I don't think you can blame Mcleish for anything. He only had seven games and clearly wasn't backed on the way he believed he would be. Not many managers walk these days. Especially after 7 days!

I am not saying he was necessarily the right manager for the job but he wasn't given a chance to show that. Too much off field stuff happened! I think he can leave the CG with his head held high! Not gonna slate someone who appeared to do not much wrong during a very difficult time and was always honest!

Its pretty easy to try and make sense of it all when not all the facts are available.

I think both parties will just put it down to experience and move on. I certainly believe we have come out of it worse than AMc has though.

Jara good full back

Jara's good. Burke would've been. But you can blame AM for his ineptitude. Managers come into clubs and make instant impacts all the time - he came in and made us worse.1 win in 7, you have to take some of the blame, whatever else is happening. A manager's job is to manage the team. He failed to do that. Good riddance.

He got a point at the sheep dip too, Rev. Doesn't say much about Derby does it?

yes the majority of us are delighted, the man is insipid and has no motivational skills, he was not the one to lead us forward.
