Tried and failed?

Tried to give the new 606 a chance.

We had our struggles with the anti Sam, Venky apologists last term but, with a New season. New owners, New boss and New players, do we wallow in the hatred and mistrust or, like every new season. Let hope reign and give optimism its head (cue the stale pie barbs)

I’m tired and bored by the rag following misanthropes pouring scorn on all that is Blackburn Rovers, delivering their bile from behind antagonistic usernames and tired wit.

If Goodwillie is a Rover, welcome and good luck.

The advert was a giggle and not humiliation.

Our shirt sponsor will be named soon and it is about the Wonga and not aesthetics.

India and China are the new powers in the world and do business in a different way. Imperialism is long dead and we are the ones with our hands outstretched.

From what I’ve seen, read and heard, Venkys look after their own and have started with our ticket prices and according to Jason Roberts…our players.

I have followed Blackburn Rovers during 5 decades with not a jot of influence over the running of the club so why would I expect it now?

I didn’t wish relegation and demise to quieten the Sam haters and I don’t wish the same to appease the asset stripper conspiracy crew and my own doubts about Keans management ability.

It’s just…… come on you blues.
I know what to expect, so see you all when the season starts.

I'm more against kean than Venkys. I don't see why top players would want to play for him. He's achieved nothing, and his record thus far definitely isn't great. I think bids for players like cisse and Honda might have been made, they just don't want to play for kean.

However, seeing they're intent on sticking with him,i'll give him a chance, but I honestly don't see big names clamoring to play for a guy who's biggest achievement to date is narrowly escaping relegation when at Christmas we should have been looking to do the rebuilding we're struggling to do at the moment. Anelka played for allardyce, why wouldn't cisse,Honda?

Petrovic on the other hand i'm impressed with. Dunno anything about goodwillie but that looks like its gone t!ts up now too...

The problem is though Pie that the add on to your user name states you hate Venkys (but only since they took over BRFC) others on here have similar hate fueled names and are derisory of Kean. Most will admit that Kean was never first choice and we would much prefer a very rich owner who is able to bank roll transfer deals etc.
However can you really say that you hate these people all because of a mere game?
Remember Jack Walker started the multi-million pound Football manager game back in the 90's and now we have been well and truly out classed by people with bigger wallets. One of Uncle Jacks negative legacies is that we are now expecting far to much from BRFC when the reality is that Venky's and Kean are really the best we can hope for these days.
I get the feeling that the champions league will expand and take away all the big City British clubs, who lets face it are the ones who will attract the investment.
Not a pretty picture but football is not the same now as it was even 10 years ago.No player loyalty, to many fans expectations, no patience and worst of all Vinjay not posting on here!!

Clown college he achieved more than mourinho had when he started as a manager, at least he played the game. I bet now the wouldn't be any club in the prem who wouldn't take him. in regards to anelka and allardyce, anelka had no where else to go, great talent but an attitude no 1 wanted, a little bit like ehd, but he is no where near as good. now anelka as got is head down and played a bit but still let himself down in last years world cup. Cisse and honda, if am honest i don't think we have bid that sort of money for any player they need, you only need to look at the nearly signings to see what calibre of player we are after.

My username says I hate Kean, I hate anyone who risks the lives of others thru selfishly consuming alcohol and driving.

I have stated my position on Venkys several times so will be succinct (sp?). Actions speak louder than words, actions have been largely poor and the words - bullshine!

On the manager front, we had a good one. Sven, McClaren, Davis etc all in Championship. And why do people harp on about Mouriniho, he's an exception really - I've got as many fingers as Shakespeare, I can't really conduct prose nearly as good as what he dit it!

Kean couldn't polish Jose's trophies let alone win one!

avb done from chelsea before he got the porto job. mcclaren i wouldn't want me local pub team to have him as manager.

Just give kean a chance this his is 1st real season with some of his signings and ideas his had chance to get over in pre season.

thats supposed to say what had avb done before he got the job at porto.

I know the inference 95, but as I said, it's the exception to the rule rather than the norm. Also, one could argue Jose had no record, Kean had a record as a poor second in command.

I'm all for giving him the chance now, why nearly relegate us then sack him? I hate the dd charge and also wish he'd not talk such absolute garbage - other than that I'll judge him on the pitch!

Back to the point, anyone heard from gfp, I'm a little worried...

maybe he is on holiday, from what of heard from everyone who as worked with kean said he was a top draw coach, this is why he got offered a job at chelsea a month before he got the managers job at are place. he also got offered the job at real sociedad when coleman got sacked but didn't take it due to integrity. The only thing i would say his, the best coaches don't make the best managers as seen with brian kidd but to say he had no idea on football would be completely wrong.

Another inference, who said he has no idea on football?

I love the way he had integrity at Sociedad but forgot when it came to Rovers...

Am not saying you said that pie but i have seen statements like that on here.
At the time it was williams, who asked him to step in for few games, the owners took a shine to him and offered him the job. Its the way of life, have seen this sort of thing happen at my place at work.
