Gerrard would pay good money for a Premiership medal.

Gerrard commands a lot of respect. He could have gone to any Premier League club and won a title in recent years. Or to Real Madrid or a top Italian club if he had so desired. He knew his chances would be diminished by staying with Liverpool but he remained loyal. He has won some stuff though like the Champions League. Top fella

I don't see what is so funny really. I think he does command respect and Dubbed, that is in the past. Of course at some point any player may have a big think about where his future lies but the point is he chose to stay in the end.
