Expect the unexpected?

Apologies if this has been posted or covered somewhere before. Just a thought... Perhaps it's all co-incidental and I'm letting my imagination get the better of me. But consider this:

1. Fawaz sacks SOD and appoints AMC on a short term deal, honestly thinking he would be a good choice for now
2. Abuse from disconcerted 'fans' and a string a poor results follow
3. Considering the popularity he would re-gain or just the chance of promotion, Fawaz looks to Billy Davies... But Billy wouldn't want to come back whilst Martha and co are still there
4. MA, FC and Burt are shockingly dismissed
5. Billy, who has previously expressed a desire to return to the club, rejects a number of job offers inlcuding Blackburn (supposedly)
6. Dexter and Raddi (two of BD's previous servants) sign new long term contracts, despite all the speculation
7. During a January transfer window to forget, none of AMC's targets were achieved. Boydgate insues (Billy isn't a fan of him)
8. AMC resigns by mutual consent
9. Within days, Billy is appointed

Did Fawaz 'force' AMC to quit, by not backing him? All those tweets of 'expect the unexpected', the 'big surprise' etc... Could they have been related to this?

Either way, I'm happy how things have turned out for now. Hopefully Fawaz will back Billy with loads of funds this summer.

There are a lot of rumors going around that the Boyd deal collapsed as Fawaz knew he was going to get BD in and knew Billy wouldn't want him. IDK, maybe it is true, but I think it is unlikely.

One thing that does make me wonder though is that Fawaz's kid kept saying a surprise is coming even from the start of January and after Billy was appointed he tweeted that he hoped everyone liked the surprise

Would have been good if it had happened like this and BD had finally got one over on MA!

I have to say, all this crossed my mind. Certainly not beyond the bounds of reality.

If that is the case pre amc leaving why would billy talk to blackpool as late as last monday seems strange unless it was smokescreen because amc was still therein forests employ on monday

Nonsense. Why would they have employed AM in the first place if this was the case. They'd have waited and got Billy. If, and this is a very big if, any of this was the case, it would surely cause even more concern about the owners, and about little billy.

Perhaps they honestly thought AMC would be a popular choice / would do a good job. Afterall, there were rumours Fawaz wanted from the start but Omar encouraged the SOD appointment(?)... Perhaps it was only till after AMC came in and Fawaz received all the abuse / results were poor that he considered Billy.

Cant hardly blame Billy for rejecting the Blackburn job! That club is an absolute circus!! Anyway dont buy into these conspiracy theories myself, think AM was appointed in good faith but he turned out to be almost asleep on the job and as lame as they come. Think if Fawaz wanted Billy back then he would have hired them and sacked MA and co the very same day if they objected. Somethig clearly bugged Fawaz about the trio of MA, KB and FC which isnt surprising as they were far too comfortable and non productive in their jobs and probably thought they were indespensible. Time for a clean slate, I'd imagine Dr Tareq will assume the CEO role which is fine as its important for owners to have their own man in place. If the new guy from Stevenage comes on board and with Billy in the dug out on a 3.5 year deal we're in a far healthier place then we've been in many a year!! Futures bright and dont let any naysayers tell anyone different, its a new Forest, the sleepy passive comfy one that employed Arthur and co is now gone, good riddance!

And Forest isn't?

It isnt Canigga, the media love painting us these recent weeks as some kind of Blackburn mark II which utter nonsense because we sacked MA, KB and released FC from a barely part time irrelevant role. These things happen when new owners take over and if anything keeping them around for 6 months helped the transition but they were never guaranteed jobs for life and I dont know too many fans who were sad to see them go.

The sacking of SOD was harsh, they got critiscm for that and rightly so, AM walked coz he disagreed on transfers?? He was only here 2 mins and he barely got any response from an already expensively assembled squad, Fawaz wanted to work with him but he didnt want it?? AM proved to me he didnt have any gumption or hunger for the job whatsoever. All he wanted to do was sign new players without any focus on development of current squad. George Boyd was hardly gonna make or break the season for us!! So now we have Billy on a 3.5 year deal, its all worked out well and the Al hasawi's have taken shed loads of abuse on twitter from journo's whiping up frenzys mainly because most of them have lost their inside men at the City Ground. This is the beginning of an era for me, time to turn the page and move forward and if anyone outside of Forest have a problem with that then tough!!!
