I've got a feeling Roque Santa Cruz could be coming. I was watching Sky Sports News earlier and Roberto Mancini was taking about how Aguero can play with strikers such as Tevez, Balotelli & Dzeko but no mention of Santa Cruz.
I know we were in for him last January but he didn't want to drop to the championship. With Sven's spending so far maybe he'll change his mind.
Would be an awesome signing!

I wouldn't be too excited about him signing.
Of course, it could be a ploy to force Maynards hand?

I think this is a good example of how hacking phones is useless unless the journalist is bright enough to take the context into account when interpreting the message. This is Sven we're talking about, Mirror dolts. When he texts his old mate Tord that "I would very much like to play with Cameron this year," it's nothing to do with football.
Though, come to think of it, the relevant Cameron's ball skills would add more to our side than anyone Birmingham have up for sale… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uB5y8i6hLM&NR=1

We need Yakubu. He schowed the sort of scoring record we are seeking. Anyone think there is a chance of him coming bac on loan? Can't see him getting in the Everton team this season.

Yakubu has been told by Everton that he is to be part of the first team squad this year and he apparently made it clear he had changed his mind about dropping down a level.
Posted a comment on another forum about this:
I don't think he'll go for any more than £2.5m. There's bound to be a Premiership offer that would match that price, and after just dropping down, doubt he would choose us over the likes of Bolton or Fulham. I imagine the only reason The Mirror has quoted £4m is because this is what Birmingham supposedly paid for him after add ons.
I'm just not sure to be honest. The last time he played at this level he scored 9 in 43, I'm no Mystic Meg (both my eyes are straight), but I can easily see at least 3 or 4 of our players getting this many goals. I think he maybe has the attributes to be a good supporting forward with his height, but we are looking for an out and out striker/poacher at this point.

Thanks for that little snippet fatfox. I would certainly appreciate Cameron's ball skills.
