In the news complaining about the time between important PL and CL games!
Does he not know what many teams, players and managers would do for these fixtures?

United have reaped the rewards if the PL and Fergie has built a great club on the back of the cash it gave him.
You can't have the benefit and not pay the piper.

That is reductionist reasoning from a poster who should know better.
No one is asking for 'special treatment'. Just fair treatment for all.
By that silly rationale, have Barca/Madrid not reaped rewards from the generosity of the Spanish FA or Bayern etc from the German FA etc?
Just give English teams a fairer crack in Europe. It is bad enough, we don't have the much vaunted winter-break...

Why do you think it's so unreasonable to suggest that this game be played at 12.45 on a Saturday, rather than 4pm on a Sunday?
The fact we have made money from TV is irrelevant. You would expect the FA to want to help its clubs out a little here.

What happened when they wrote in?
......
The F.A ignored it.

As they would. Scheduling of the premier league games is done in conjunction with... the premier league, not the FA!
I can see fergies point and I think it's to do with the way the deal with Sky is structured ie there are no Friday live games in the bidding package. It's the commercial aspect that needs to allow for this.
It would make sense for teams in the champions league to play on a Friday - if required for TV and avoid Sunday.
Also for Europa league teams to play on Sunday if required for TV, instead of Monday like Liverpool are before a game in Russia.
However this can threaten to open a can of worms... namely that the clubs shown on TV more times will rightly ask for a greater share of the TV revenue. This will quickly cascade into rich clubs getting richer.. either through an increased share of TV rights money or negotiating their own rights.

And his complaints are usually justified. I think the word that is winding everyone up here is "Fergie".

to be fair i think fergie has a point. the game could have been played today.

I was going to elaborate on why i drew the parallels but it is evident you don't have the intellectual fortitude to parse my text so i best not bother.
====================================
Please, bother.
It should make interesting, if not a little skewed reading.
Don't go trying to come across as some sort of intellectual ja606 heavyweight, because your quite obviously not.
Anyway, come on, elaborate on how you drew such ridiculous parallels, numb nuts.
