Azza, maybe we should be gettings points against the like of Bury but i guess Brentford will be saying that they should beat Bury at home, and they didnt.
Swindon would have expected to beat Hartlepool, but they didnt.
If it was that predictable it wouldnt be interesting now would it.

All teams are different hound we are DRFC and no-one else, we should be taking care of our own destiny and game etc, I'd see it as 6 points dropped if I'm being totally honest and last sat morning yourself and many others would have said next 2games 6 points wouldn't you not? But as we've found out and seen of late that's not the case. I expect the players, Brian and everyone to turn things round but I also do not see us continually challenging the top 2 unles we can bring in a couple of extra loanees to see us through.

Azza, i dont disagree with you about perhaps i would have expected six points from the two games.
What i am saying is that so would the likes of Swindon and Brentford, and probably Tranmere when they were looking at their next two games last saturday morning.
Of course we should be taking care of our own destiny but so should everyone else.
As i said earlier, two teams on the pitch both trying to take care of themselves.
Dont forget that Bury are fighting for their place in the division and Walsall are now only just outside of the top six.
We wont get it all our own way.
I also think that we are not a bad team overnight.
We are second in the table on merit but we will have a blip now and again.
There are still sixteen games to go.
So far we have gained 1.86 points per game.
The same average over the last 16 games will see us promoted.
Dont panic, we are good enough.

Not a bad performance, just a lack of midfield creativity in the centre. Keegan & Harper are too alike. And I don't like brown & Paynter up front together. They did nothing wrong, they're just too alike. I'm afraid today the lack of a squad showed. We lose Syers & Hume and we look less effective.
The back 4 were also pulled all over the place. Lets NOT have another Rob Jones day please, he let the man he was marking get in front of him for the 1st goal & got done for skill & pace by brandy for the second. Thought Quinn had a mare today, much prefer Griffin at left back.
Hey no another lost chance to go top!

It’s funny how we all see things differently. I agree DonnyRed with all of your first paragraph (as for Keegan and Harper I’d rather have seen Harper taken off), and I agree about Brown and Paynter (though they did combine for our goal).
But I didn’t think Quinn had a mare. Also for the first goal Rob Jones wasn’t marking anyone. He was occupying a big empty space.
In the first half Walsall created almost nothing because we were quite tight on them. At the start of the 2nd half Walsall started by launching the ball beyond our back four which had the effect of putting us on the back foot. They then changed to playing it to feet and because we were no longer tight they had time to turn and cause havoc by running at us. At the other end they got a lot tighter on our front players. Some bizarre refereeing decisions didn’t help either.
On another day the shot from Cotts or follow up header goes in and we’re all happy.
Well that’s how I saw it.

Now then Fuzzy.......Mr Adcock (lucky blighter) I was not at the game but is this the man who is about 4 foot something with dark hair??? Is this the ref who I believe since we were in the Championship and has been at Donny he has never had a good game but only for the visitors and IF my memory is right we have not won a single game when he has been here (Can you check??) I am sure that I am right, if we did win any it may just be one but I cannot remember.....But I do know he is an absolute arm hole ang goes strutting round the ground as though he owns it.. HE CERTAINLY DOES NOT LIKE DONNY
