I have seen him many times before and have never rated him. Doesn't have any extraordinary ability.
For me he is just a younger version of Shawn Wright Philips.
His ball control is poor, not a great first touch, doesn't have a weak foot ability and he trips over the ball.
Anyone expecting him to be Ronaldo or Giggs is deluding themselves. He'd do well to become as good as Young. In fact Young was a better talent when he was 20.

He didn't do anything until Palace scored twice and were on top.

He's skillful but often runs into a dark alley.

He was better in the second half when he was given more space. At Utd he's going to have more room to do different tricks.

He has potential to be a really good player. He's probably reached his peak in the Championship and it's up to Man Utd to improve him further.

Obviously Man Utd fans won't have seen him as often as we have but does anyone really expect him to fail?

I don't get why you would not back a young exciting talent your team has just signed whether it be from us or anyone else.

Some "fans" really make me wonder why the feck you bother following a team if you are not going to support them! At least give the lad a chance to show what he can do with a the class of players you have at United.
