Who do you believe has the potential to go from strength to strength and become the next hottest young property in the spl.
i think we do have quite a few youngsters in the Spl to keep an eye on.
the 5 players i think can lit up the season in no particular order are
1. David Templeton/Hearts - after a good start to the season last year, after christmas he went off the boil and never ended it the way he would have liked. He is a player i admire and if he can add a few more goals and abit more consistency he will be a player to watch.
2. James Forrest/Celtic - Last season gave Celtic fans a chance to see young Forrest given some first team experience which saw him play in his first old firm game. His quick rise to fame has alerted premiership club Bolton who have been monitoring his progression with admiring eyes. This season i am expecting him to battle Brown for the right wing slot and could well establish himslef as a vital member of the first team.
3. Jamie Ness/Rangers - Ness burst onto the scene after making his debut against Motherwell was thrown into the lions den of an old firm where he more than held his own. Injury in the second half of the season seen his progression halted alittle however his vision and slick passing was evident and could well establish the centre midfield slot his own.
4. Jamie Murphy/Motherwell - Jamie was a key member of the Motherwell team that marched to the Scottish cup final last year and throughtout the season showed a versitility and pace that has caught the attention of Celtic, Rangers and a number of premiership clubs who have all been rumoured to make a move for him before the end of the transfer window.
5. Callum Booth/Hibs - Callum made his debut in January this year and went on to make the left back spot his own making 17 appearances for the hibees. In that short time he has shown this he has the physical attributes to stand up for himself in the hustle bustle of the Spl and the abilitty to change defence into attack. Not only can he just defend but his attacking strengths include his speed and his crossing abilty.

Hector-I'd say you are on to something there.
Why do Scottish sportsmen make such poor pro's?

You know, I know Billy boy...
Broon and Forrest the same kind of player...

He said same spot, not kind of player. You need to accept they're both in contention for the attacking RM slot, King can accept one is a winger and one is a midfielder.
Then you can both give up the terrible attempt at an argument.

Forrest and Broon are not vying for the same spot.

Sorry Hector, I forgot in Lennon's favoured 4-4-2 formation that there's space for a Right Midfielder and a Right Winger. It's going to be our new tactic, let Broony charge into someone and have Forrest within 5 yards at all times to pick up the rebound.
Just because their 'positions' are 10 yards apart on football manager doesn't mean they aren't both in competition for the same place in the team.
Slap your head all you want, what a tool.
