Stag night last night, was messy but enough of that.
Wake to see City lost 3.1 and instantly my hangover was a little less painful.
Seriously this is the result of the season in my opinion, and after see MOTD they seemed to fully deserve it and probably by more goals (how was that not a penalty ???)
If Fergie puts a weaker side out today then he's an idiot, chance to all but wrap title up today. I know Madrid is important but we simply must take this massive opportunity today, not saying Everton are easy far from it but we can beat them and think we will if Fergie puts strong side out.
The best hangover surprise ever

I'll blow my top. If we play a very good side and lose then fair enough, I can take that. If we go out there playing players out of position or without somebody in defence that can head the ball then we'll get beat today.
As you say, 12 points all but kills the title, in my opinion. That's 4 defeats in 12 games and that would still be dependant on City winning all of their games. Today is massive.
We discussed this the other day, but, winning the PL this season is more important now than ever before. Imagine if City came back from this? There isn't a player in Europe choosing us over them, not to mention the huge financial rewards and boosted mentality it would give them. Losing this from here would be disastrous.
We're not winning the CL this season and a proper crack at the domestic double would be fantastic. Forget about Madrid for today, play our best team, get the game won, and if we beat Madrid then great. If not, then it's still been a great season.

City still have to go to Swansea, Everton, Spurs and come to OT as well.
I can see them losing at least 2 more games as yet.

Don't forget playing Chelsea in their next game. Chelsea are a bit hit and miss but certainly have enough to get at least a point at the Etihad next week.

Even better rob, if Chelsea did get something and we are 12 ahead at that point
The league will be over

Rafa will make sure City get the 3 points though.
He'll probably drop Lampard who is scoring every game and play Torres instead of Ba.

Even if we went 18 points clear some people on here would be too superstitious to celebrate!

In fairness Rob......
I bet you were one of the people who was declaring it over after City lost at Arsenal in April.
Football has a funny way of biting you on the backside.
Like you I can't see them catching us again, especially if we win / draw today. But it's not over till it's over.
Let's really inflict misery on them and win it by more than 12 points I say.

It's not superstitious, pessimistic or negative, its realistic and cautious.
We dont need to be saying the league is over, grab the 20 champ20ns shirts (printed last year)...
Enjoy the lead and be optimistic but dont be an arrogant pillock!

I'm not being arrogant, but I think it would be a massive step towards title
Win today and City pretty much HAVE to win every single game and hope we lose 4 times (or draw a few)

Where was your stag do? Please don't tell me anywhere in the UK, I hate it when people don't go abroad for a stag do.
