I am cautiously optimistic at the moment, and I actually could feasibly see Arsenal finishing 2nd and winning the FA Cup.
This Arsenal team really seems to be coming together at the right time and some of the play in the first half by our Midfield and Attack was the best I've seen since 2007-8. Rather than just playing through RVP or Fabregas everyone seems to want to be involved and take responsibility which makes us dangerous, with some good finishing we would've scored about 5 goals!
Anyway Chelsea and City seem to be falling away and I think we could get a run of consistency going then we could really fly up the table.
Tottenham worry me, but we always finish above them so that gives me confidence. I have confidence in getting top 4, and think in all likelihood we'll get 3rd but I'm not ruling out 2nd at all (Although RVP has single-handedly won the title for Man Utd)
Also I just have a good feeling about the FA Cup, I sense Wenger is desperate to win one and I can really see us going on and winning it.
I mean this is Arsenal so it will probably all blow up in our faces. But if Wilshere, Carzola, Walcott, Giroud and Podolski all turn up in one game then there are very few teams who can stop us.
In any case let us be optimistic

You have fairly easy fixtures compared the others, and when you play us, we hopefully won't have much to play for.

Has anyone ever introduced the OP to Got Better?

we are far to inconsistant at the minute , very good one game ordinary the next with our swiss cheese defence ,
agreed the signs are very good for next year with wilshire and ramsey providing real quality for the future -
no cups this year and 5th in the prem is best we can hope for , spurs to strong this year --

Honestly didn't see us finishing top 4 but our performances yesterday gives me hope.
The problem is that the teams that look vulnerable (Chelsea and City) are far ahead of us and we have played them twice already so our destiny is simply not in our hands if we want to catch them, whereas the team in touching distance (Spurs) look very well drilled and solid and don't look like they will drop silly points.

Just to clarify, I'd be amazed if we got second, I'm just saying with form and fixtures and the fact we look like we're actually clicking, that it is possible and the optimistic side of me will not rule it out

Don't go all Brendan Rodgers on us now!

Can we please have a game where the two halves are similar? Rather than a shambles of a first half followed by an extremely arousing second half, or an extremely arousing first half followed by a shíte inducing second half like yesterday

It's all down to us. If we go on a run of 6 games and win 5 of them, we'll be in the top 4, I almost guarentee it.
Teams like Spurs and City and Chelsea all could drop points anywhere and lots of them have to play each other. I don't see Everton lasting the distance.
If we sort our own game out we'll be fine.
