Junction, I think it appears that fans are giving Ade heat over the most minor things. That's what my point all along has been. Chicken made a great point about Bale, yet he got no heat whatsoever. If this was another player, let's say Lloris or Holtby for example, I am pretty certain there would have been little heat on them as they are crowd favourites. But Ade ain't and anything he's doing wrong in the slightest is being scrutinised.

Anyway i'm not gonna change your views mate so there is no point in me justifying Ade's to you.

not at all...i wld fully back and did...bale missing a game for the birth of his child...and if ade cld/did come up with a genuine/good excuse..i'd take it all back.

What history? He's got a good history if anything - just check out his goal stats.

He's not the only player to want a better deal at another club & apart from "that" goal celebration, i cant see that he has done anything out of the norm - apart from turn up a few hours late from Africa.

What has he historically done that is so bad in your view?

He left Arsenal for City - so have a lot of players. He went on loan to Real Madrid and couldn't quite make the grain - same as alot of other players.

He came to Spurs - same as alot of players. And he scored 17 goals in 33 games (not like many other players recently).

As far as i can see, all people want to listen to is the fact he played for Arsenal and was a few hours late coming back to England, following a tournament in his home continent.

He hasn't gone on strike or parked outside a rival club ground.

Obviously you are entitled to your opinion - that is what this forum is for - but i do think you're being harsh (& stubbornly harsh) on him over, what is in my opinion, a petty affair.

So in short, you have no examples of your own about his history - they are purely media percieved stories.

Do you take all "media percieved stories" seriously, or just ones about Ade?

junction8..............my main complaint is that he is constantly judged on perceived previous, not on his time at WHL. This s his first transgression and if we are to believe AVB, Ade was 3 hours late in reporting back & incurred a club fine.

To my mind that should be the end of it, as Chicken has said he has not downed tools, or tried to force a move away.

again....who or what too believe...i'm giving my opinion...i don't have too back it up with facts....
