For Bayern match i would go with, (providing everybody fit)
Sir Szc
Sagna Mert Kos Verm
Wilshere
Mozart Carzola
Podolski Walcott Gervinho
Reasons: 1 Bayern mainly attacks down the flank.
2 Their backline is slow. (hence speed up top)
3. no need for a DM, pack the middle with ball players (BM prefers the flank)

Gunners till I die, How many decent teams has Giroud scored against this season?
I'd play Walcott through the middle, their defence is fine with a big slow striker, it would be the pace on the counter of Walcott, Pod and Ox that would cause it trouble

Giroud would be nullified by that Bayern defence, Van Buyten is so much stronger.
Van Buyten is awful. Lahm world class You cant make that up. Dante
Rev is right. You have to stop the midfield and their wings.

"On paper we have a better team than Bayern but Bayern are in great form and walking the league"

^^^Agree with this. Bayern are probably the best team in Europe, maybe second to Barca.

Well Chris i'm not sure about you but i remember Giroud scoring goals against both Germany and most recently Spain. The difference between slow strikers and Giroud is that he is a very hard worker defensively as well as closing down, but more importantly his runs has been impressed me the most.
The OX is not in form at the moment, though i wouldn't mind him coming off the bench to make an impact
