So it's Huddersfield Town at the John Smith's Stadium on Sunday.
Caretaker manager Mark Lillis - assisted by Steve Eyre - took an injury-hit team to a creditable 2-1 victory at third-placed Leicester.
Huddersfield sacked Simon Grayson in January but could have Mark Robins - from Coventry - in post before Sunday.

Looks like you're Wigan's answer to the Lone Ranger on here but one of ours usually puts a match thread up a few days in advance of the game so there'll be plenty of banter flying around if you like that sort of thing....
Sooooo....Sunday. Are you confident? What would you consider to be your teams strengths and weaknesses? I haven't seen much of Wigan this season but I watched your game with Man City at the DW and in spells you looked a good side. Kone will no doubt be a threat but the one who impressed me most was Jones in the centre of the park...reminds me a lot of Michael Carrick and I can see him having a good career.
Are you coming over for the game? Ticket prices are very reasonable if you do. Ours are from £10 adults £5 concessions and we're notorious for being fair to visiting fans

Sorry - 'can't modify number of tagged teams'.
Clearly, survival in the Premier League is Wigan's priority. And the next game is a six-pointer away to Reading, so that must figure highly in Martinez' thoughts.
Martinez regards cup games as an opportunity to give squad and young players greater experience. And, of course, this gives first team regulars a rest.
Of the squad players, Jones, Stam and Gomez could well start. He has signed some players in the transfer window - Robles, Scharner, Espinoza and Henriquez. And some players are ready to return after long-term injury - Alcaraz, Watson and Miyaichi. So some of these could play too.
Despite their low position, Wigan are not playing badly. I'm sure that the first team, and the neat way they play, would give Huddersfield a good test. Martinez will stick to his 3-4-3 formation, but it's difficult to predict which players he will select for Sunday.

Interestingly both teams ultimately have the same ambition, to retain their status in their respective league and this cup game is a bit of a distraction for both.
We can play some decent football at times and have recently become tough to beat so it could be a close game. Wigan play some excellent football and if the first team is put out I would expect them to win but if its a mainly younger team we have a greater chance especially as those players will have to prove they are up for this kind of game and not just the glamourous PL games.

Martinez picked a team that did the job.
Blazquez
Scharner Golobart Figueroa
Stam McArthur Fyvie Espinoza (Maloney 57' )
Gomez (Beausejour 74' ) Kone McManaman
A good run-out for Kone and good experience for several of the younger players. Wigan head for Reading in confident mood.
Meanwhile Reading put up a good defence against a weakened team at Old Trafford despite losing 2-1.
