much better than watching the plodders all winter with just the two big meetings at the end for our excitement

There are plenty of plodders on the flat as well tryp. I think the jumps season is punctuated with great meetings and races throughout but I have to say watching the likes of Frankel, Workforce et al has a special thrill - and that's coming from a jumps man!
