Striker Kevin Doyle today hinted he could see out his contract at Wolves, casting doubt on a summer move.
The 29-year-old was denied a loan move to Celtic in January when he potentially missed out on playing in the Hoops’ Champions League last-16 tie against Juventus.
Wolves boss Dean Saunders opted against the deadline-day deal as he was left with no time to sign a replacement.
Speculation persists that the £6m forward will be a target for clubs at the end of the season.
Doyle, however, insists he is happy to remain at Molineux, where he is under contract until June 2015.
