having just seen broads 6 wicket haul today and hes outstanding performaces at lords against the no1 team in the world india, could broad be the new sir ian beefy botham
broad's performace reminds me of botham against the aussie's in the ashes.
Is it too early to say broad could be the new botham.

what is the score in the cricket?

You are far too negative for me Bobby so we will just have to agree to disagree. I can see the headlines already, England are the best team in the world so the standard of world cricket has dropped? Sorry mate, utter hollocks. England are scoring double centuries, and taking hattricks. We are the real deal. As for Broad, the selectors have placed him exactly where he should be. We bat long, and bowl beautifully and have a keeper who scores for fun.

Not negative at all Mak the current state of test cricket is poor, and personally imn glad that England are top off the tree and long may it continue! But when England play abroad on flatter pitches having 5 bowlers and more options to bowl sides out twice is the way and if Broad continues is current form than the number 6 spot will allow these options.

so negative bobby. Why do you want to see bobby gould in a coffin he's great

Bobby, those allrounders you mentioned earlier are without doubt living legends. If Broad gets anywhere near that level then we are going to have some good years I understand that you want to see him in "that" proper allrounder position, but imagine if we find great number six and seven bats and then have people like him coming in. We are going to take some beating with a batting line up that is that long, and they can all bowl

Ha Ha Andy you probably didnt no this but Bobby Gould was one of the worse managers my team Wet Brom ever had,and obviously cause he was that bad the fans built a coffin put is name on top and paraded it on the pitch and driving home the other day i couldnt believe the clown was on the radio and i nearly crashed the car and ended in a coffin myself, how talksport can employ him is beyond belief they must be desperate!

Bobby, our first allrounder Bresnan has smashed this Indian attack all over the park in very quick time. Broad and Swann have not come in yet. You see what i mean don't you? These boys are class. When Bresnan came in we had just lost 3 wickets, so his innings was again, under a little pressure. No excuses, it's our time.

he is quite funny i think. His football talk is week but he's good entertainment

listen Maksi if Bresnan smashes steyn and morkel all round the park next summer ill give you that, for the neutral i guess its a shame khan and sehwag aern"t fit because it"d be one cracking tight series, whats left of that Indian attack Derek Pringle and Chris Lewis would of smashed them about and after a few good games them pair of clowns were dubbed the "next" Botham which they"ll never be.

hmm Maybe we really do have 3 great allrounders after all? Use hindsight buddy and enjoy yet another wonderful performance by Bresnan and Broad, and we know we can turn to Swann whenever the wicket suits. Yepp, it's official we have 3 world class allrounders in the same team
