But I find myself just not caring anymore. Well it's not that I don't care, it's just I'm resigned to the fact that we aren't going to get anywhere near back to where we were pre-2005 any time soon.

I genuinely believe that from a 'pitch-side' point of view, this team is heading in the wrong direction. Players like Gervinho, Giroud and Arteta as a DM should not be in our first XI.

Wilshere has incredible potential, but to me he's similar to someone like Modric or Xavi in terms of he won't single handedly win you a game like Bale or Ronaldo might.


Listening to Wenger these days, it's a bit like a dark-humoured version of David Brent, just seems to spout the same old rubbish. No other club in any top division in Europe would of allowed him to remain in charge of coaching their first team.

Our squad needs a serious overhaul, but with the policy of the club, there is no way we are going to do it. Expect to see the same old dross next season.

Oh well, Bayern next. Quite possibly the last CL game at the emirates for a while.....
