I was discussing going to Selhurst with some at work and he was telling me his "routine" and some of his superstitions.
I wonder does anyone else have/ had any? Maybe picking up a penny or something more crazy?
Stupid Superstition

I hope you don't live on your own TUX otherwise that might be a dangerous scenario!
I didn't realise the last away win was at Peterborough in November so I would take a point and hope some results go our way tomorrow.

I don't live alone bud..........................myself and 'the voices in head' all live together.
Anyway, back to superstitions. I went to the pub this evening wearing my Palace 'training top' kinda thing that i bought 4yrs ago and rarely wear tbh. I wore it solely on the back of this thread. We won!!!!
Guess what i'll be wearing everytime we play from now on............................not that i'm supersticious

Well done TUX I'll email the club and make sure you get a special mention in the next programme
You might want to wash soon as the next game is on Tuesday. Or maybe you don't want to wash it? That's more FFS Murrays area of expertise

Cheers bud, fame at last
The top won't get washed until the season is over. Funny how superstitions start eh. I've not worn this top for a good while but due to this thread i chose to wear it last night. Hey presto, we ended our dire away drought.
Going by last nights result, if i wear it for the next 2 seasons we may win the Champions League!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah i know, shut up TUX

OK everyone get your lucky shirts out. Don't drop knives. Do or don't pick up pennies, etc because we need a win today!

Probably the best I have seen us play all season.
No reason to think we can't claim an auto place if we can continue this way.
We need to carry it into our away performances obviously, but it's all looking good.
Well done the boys!

Once again, well done guys! Collectively we are doing our bit for the team. Champions League can't be that far off now?
4-0 would have been a fairer scoreline. Once we got the 2nd goal they gave up. Came back a bit when it went 3-1 but then couldn't handle Zaha.
I know its a cliche but the next game is a big one. Leeds seem to be on the up. If we can beat them it'll help us and keep the nearly play-off teams away. Although I do hope someone leap frogs the seaweed. I can't stand the thought of the possibility of playing them in the play-offs.
Bolton are edging closer to the play-offs as well

Re meeting B******n in the playoffs, this was a topic that came up with a few of us at the match.
My own thoughts are that firstly we can avoid the playoffs if we play like we did last night.
On last night's form we would probably beat anyone in the league from now on in.
Failing that, I would say that no team will beat us over two legs for sure. Then it's all about the day, whoever we would get.
I would take the weed over two legs and beating Bolton in the final if it came to it.
Oh the joy!!

Sarcasm 'Mon'
Guess who wore their lucky training top last night .
As for the result, fantastic! After the away win, this is a huge performance in the run up to Leeds this w'end.
Do we have enough in the tank to grab 2nd place...........i'd say a 30% chance.
Hopefully i'm wrong.

It wasn't meant to be sarcastic! I can't explain how nervous I get before any game now so I think I'll be stealing all your superstitions by the end of the season!
I was telling someone at work that this league is the best in England. We're forced to believe the PL is the best in the world but on what basis? At the start of the season you could guess the order of the top 6 teams and more likely than not get them correct. However in the Championship anyone can beat anyone and you don't know what will happen. Us, Watford, Wolves are all examples. Zola said the other day that teams you might expect to beat down the bottom of the league might beat you because they give 100% and fight for their lives.
So 10 games left to go and anything can happen. No reason why we can't win the league!!!
