I hear Mancini has come out and said he is the best manager in England. I used to have a bit of time for this guy - he's flamboyant, he likes a confrontation, a generally entertaining manager compared to some of the drier dull managers in the league. However I think he has finally been found out this season. To go backwards like City have especially with the money available is pretty astonishing. I'd like to see him in McDermott or Martinez's situation. I would be amazed if he is still the manager of City next season. Thoughts.

I wouldn't want to take Jol on at drinking though. He looks like he could hold a massive amount of booze.
=====================
You could hit him over the head with a bubble jug & he wouldn't even flinch.

nomadic :
"However, its future was threatened by an estimated debt burden of £80 million, yet it was secured against the club's ground, Stamford Bridge. In 2003 he sold the club to Russian oil billionaire Roman Abramovich, for a sum of £140 million making a £17 million profit."

For all the aggro of his reign, x hundred grand per yr of ownership might be a quite modest return.
"He was at the club for 20 years earning a big salary on top of that profit, don't forget."
Dunno, was he ??
