Anyone see Mark Viduka and Harry Kewell on Goals on Sunday yesterday?
Mark was waxing lyrical about his time at Celtic and stated it was the place he loved most to play in his career, claiming that he is bringing his kids up in the ways of the hoops and they all have the strips etc..
Interesting bit was when asked why, if he loved the club so much, did he leave? His comments were about the ill feeling in the dressing room and the fact that no one really got on well at that time...stories i heard were based around not a lot of people getting on with HIM but he didnt elaborate on the story much further. Nor the hefty increase in wages going to Leeds...
At that time it was Kenny and Barnes in charge - we really were in a mess at that point...
Thought the guy was a bit of a mercenary but had flashes of real ability....and a stunning mrs...

I remember a detailed article and interview with him in fourfourtwo a few months after he had left and he was nowhere near a complimentary towards Celtic or Scottish football as he was yesterday.
Now appreciate that over time you can change your opinion and as you mature you can see things that happened in the past differently but the "If I knew about O'Neill coming line" is frankly bollox.
Anyway, he got to the premier league and with the money we got Chris Sutton so in the end everything worked out for everyone

Some player on his day , really unplayable when he was in the mood
It was a shame we didnt get to see much of Viduka / larsson and moravcik as an attacking trio . Larsson broke his leg and we never got to see them really gel.

Did he just put the 'O' in his name to appeal to the Celtic fans?

He took it out to settle in better
That sadly is the truth

I was a big fan of Viduka. And the Mark Viduka song is one of the greatest I've ever heard.
