The Europa League is the tournament of UEFA Champions League drop-outs and the 5th-7th best in their domestic league (in Premier League circumstances). After watching Sparta Prague v Chelsea last week, I learnt Chelsea were in the Europa League to win it. The fielded the strongest side available. The same cannot be said for Newcastle and Liverpool, who both ended up not winning. Another English club that fielded an all-out side was Tottenham, due to AVB's relationship with the Europa League (AVB won it with FC Porto).
-An all English final in Amsterdam would be interesting. A Chelsea v Tottenham perhaps.
How important is the Europa League?

I'd rather win the europa league than fa cup. Dominating the fa cup for years, be good to win something new.
Saying that a possible tie with utd in the cup would be mouth watering!!

I want us to be the club with the most FA Cups

I seem to be the only fan of either team that wants a Chelsea vs Spurs semi-final in Europa. Probably because i have alot of respect for it and it'll do the competition's perception the power of good in England.

I like the Europa League.
Around Europe it´s held in fairly high esteem, especially in Spain where it´s taken very seriously.
I would love us to win the Europa simply because it´s the only major trophy we´ve never won and would complete the European set.
Don´t think any other side has ever won the European Cup/Champions League, UEFA Cup/Europa League and the European Cup Winners Cup.

We'd be the fourth. If memory serves the other three are Juventus, Ajax & Bayern.

I would like to go to Amsterdam. If we make it we should designate a 606 "coffee shop" for all travelling board members to meet up in

TP.....
I am wondering if the only reason you want Spurs V Chelsea is you want AVB to stick two fingers up at Roman and the anti AVB brigade

As for the Europa League, it is a competition that represents failure for the majority of the teams that drop out of the CL into it, for that reason it will always carry a negative stigma and is therefore doomed to the UEFA scrap heap of bad ideas...
I agree a Spurs v Chelsea tie would give it a short term boost though

Don't think the likes of United, Barca and RM care to be honest, we are probably the only CL winners to have won the Full Members Cup, is that a stand out achievment?

Full Members Cup ?
Sounds a bit rude somehow
