Mayweather has today signed a 6 fight deal with Showtime, that he expects to honour within 30 months. First one starting with Guerrero obviously

Interesting, didn't think he'd have this many more fights. Reckon he had maybe 3 or 4. I personally think it will be Guerrero, then Alvarez, then maybe Bradley.
How do other people see it going, what 6 fights will he have?

His legacy will be tainted if he doesn't fit Pacman. The fact this fight wasn't and still hasn't been made, is a disgrace to the sport.
---------------
Pacman is done, so mayweather fighting and beating him would just be a marquee name on the list but not at the marquee form.

agree....pacman has gone.......not just since that last brutal KO....his last few fights he's struggled in....lack of motivation/focus.......!?
but whatever the reason...i agree...he's gone.

Pacman couldn't convincingly beat marquez in his prime and mayweather can do what Marquez does better so it would be a forgone conclusion as long as mayweather doesn't go in over-cocky

it would be a forgone conclusion

Maybe, but it appears we will never know.
The fact is that the biggest fight that could have been made since SRL vs Hagler hasn't happened.
It's a disgrace, and taints Mayweather's legacy. He doesn't take the biggest fights and will therefore be judged accordingly.

Tbh Paisley you're just believing the press, i don't think either of them ducked each other, they both wanted it. Arum was the reason it never happened / never will happen

Believing the press?
No.
Arum doesn't see eye to eye with the Mayweather camp and was part of the problem the reason why it has never happened.
However, Mayweather himself has moved the goalposts a few times himself.
It's a shambles and an utter disgrace to the sport. The two best fighters on the planet in the same weight division never fought. Regardless of who's actual fault it is, it taints the sport as a whole and affects both PBF and Pacman's legacy, especially Mayweather who many of the uneducated feel is the best fighter ever to lace up a pair of gloves. The best of the best meet the biggest challenges head on, Mayweather doesn't do this.
I believe Mayweather would have won the fight, but the fact it never happened affects his legacy.

boxing need a new system where boxers do not choose the fights

Agreed.......why have a top ten......if you can go outside That.......

It's not the boxers though nan bread, it's the promoters.
Mayweather is a bit different because he picks his own fights, where Pacman along with almost every other fighter, just fights who they are told to.
A situation like this has damaged the sport imo, especially with MMA becomming more popular over the last two decades. Boxing needed this fight to happen and it's a crying shame it didn't, because money, ego, fear and personality has made sure that it hasn't.
