Well, you've got what you wanted.......

................to all of you who wanted Stale out because the football was not up to a standard worthy of this club. There were only a few of us that wanted to keep him and were willing to give him more time to see if he could transform the squad he inherited into a side that could push on next season.

He's gone and we now have DS who in my opinion should never have been given the job. I was prepared to give him a little slack, but it's plain to see that he way out of his depth, even at this level.

He talks well and says he has a plan for every eventuality, but alas that's complete and utter carp.

I'm practically resigned to League 1 football next season and hopefully we can get a manager in who actually knows what he's doing.

I eagerly await my usual critics to come onto this article and look forward to reading their defence of a manager who appears to be clueless. He has changed the defence, granted and long overdue, but it's the inability to grab that all important 2nd goal and tactics that seem to be our stumbling block. I've lost count of the number of matches in which we've scored first, only to either lose or only manage a draw.

Totally gutted tonight.

I’ll take a cheap fifty. It’s three. Amazed you’ve lost count between zero and three Sunny. Terrible mathS.

In answer to WITLESS' question, about why we are 3rd from bottom, it is because a certain previous manager, who'd given Wolves their most success in 30 years, was driven out by a vocal few. Since then it's been calamitous, with the club tumbling. TC wasn't up to it, Stale Solbakken was slightly better, giving the fans hope (including me), until it was clear he hadn't a clue, and was in fact a bit of a joke.

The downward trajectory is continuing, although I believe the side is playing better now, and I like several of the personnel changes. Saunders is newly installed, and I liken it to a Ship's captain putting the brakes on a massive Oil Tanker heading in the wrong direction. Once the slide has been checked, then I have faith that he will turn it around.

Last night, against the division's form team, who had won almost all their previous ten games, a single-goal defeat doesn't look so shameful. Had the wrongly disallowed "goal" not been ignored, it might even have been highly respectable.

It's at such a time that DS deserves support from those that purport to be fans.

The fact that everyone who has voted on this article thus far has awarded it just one point, speaks volumes in itself, don't you think?

anyone reckon WITTS is an albion/blues fan wumming his way into next year?

No. He’s not bright enough for that. What you read is really what goes on in his head however difficult that is to believe.

Thats not true Bute......we are where we are because Morgan did not sack Mick when he should have last december.
It was clear his time was up, Stales sacking is a knock on from that huge error that Morgan regrets.....he was not gonna delay a decision like that again.

It is true. There is no way Wolves would be third from bottom if Mick was here now. Third from top, more like!

I agree with cinci, if MM had been sacked when he should have been we would have had more of a chance of staying up last season due to the fact that none of the lily livered players who obviously don't give a t⊙§§ about wolves wouldn't be there now, your rose coloured Mick specs should have been taken off by now Bute, he's part of the cause not a solution
