After a humiliating nights football and reading accounts of people who were there its got me wondering whats gone wrong. Sadly one factor I saw on Sunday and apparently was the same last night was the Peter Clarke effect.

As has been said on many times before he seems to have more influence on what happens during a game then any manager has. We always drop deep and hope Alamo style defending will see us right and it mainly doesnt. In the last 6 games he has featured in we have conceded 18 goals so clearly something isnt working.

The biggest frustration was that against Cardiff I saw a team be tough to beat and play up the field as much as possible. We looked to have found a solid foundation to build upon. Move that forward to the Leicester away game and we beat a top team in their own back yard, maybe with some luck but we only seem to have "luck" when we win!

I genuinely dont know how this man is still playing for us, let alone captain. Its time for Mark Robins to grow a pair and drop him and he can carry the water bottles if he wants to be involved. Saying that he would probably retreat into the stands and take all the subs with him!

For me it has to now be Lynch and Gerrard or Wallace if either of those two arent fit.

So what do people think, am I being too hard on him? He doesnt deserve all the flack but his influence is massive and as such he is more obviously a target.
