It's a confusing one. His signings have been pretty poor and unimaginative - Nish, Grassi, Kerr, Harkins, McBride & Easton (probably many more) who are previously poor SPL players. Doesn't seem to have dug up many gems and just going for "safe" options, so he's not entirely blameless in terms of squad quality.

But had little time to prepare and had to build on a squad that was miles away from Ross County, and had been great for Dundee in the SFL. If he was going to be sacked, why not 8 games in when they still had a chance, or in the transfer window when somebody could have brought in players? They're not going to stay up now, so no idea what they're trying to achieve.

Who would be daft enough to take over that lot! !!!

They have probably looked at some managers that are currently available and decided to bite the bullet and sack "the trainee". How are young managers meant to learn if they don't get the time.

Means someone with no connection to the players can come in and start to cut the wage bill.
