I only want him to stay if Usmanov is brought onto the board, and Dein is brought back to support Wenger (though I'll never forgive Dein for bringing Kroenke to the club).
If those things don't happen, Wenger's time is up for me, for these reasons:
The money's there but he refuses to spend it.
He's failing to motivate players.
He never has a tactical plan, and is still using the 'Fabregas' formation even though Fabregas isn't at the club anymore.
Not using players in their natural positions - Ramsey on the wing? Podolski on the wing?
Actually discussed selling RVP with Fergie over the phone. (Fergie must have wet himself laughing at Wenger).
Sold all the key players that were meant to be part of our rebuilding process, and that has repeated itself over the last few years.
Wenger calls all the shots at Arsenal, with regard to transfer negotiations, contract talks, you name it. I've given up with this idea that everything is the board's fault.
What justifies his 7.5m a year salary? What has he done to warrant this? Apart from line the board members' pockets, I really cannot see it.

I hate Wenger.
The board are all like 'Have 100million to spend. We really love football and don't care about money'
And he's all like 'Na, mate. I wanted us to sign Benayoun instead of Mata. This is totally my decision not to spend.'

DaStuDogg,
How can you explain Wenger talking about signing a DM and CF all January without even coming close to getting one, and as soon as Gibbs got injured, he was happy to splash out £8M on a LB and get rid of another LB he had previously called an exceptional player?

Apparently Wenger bid for Arturo Vidal, 30 million Euros, Juve turned it down in a snipey comment saying, 'we don't sell OUR star players'.
At the 11th hour a bid for Capoue was rejected, again apparently.
I think Wenger did want another midfielder, but struggled to get his targets.

I heard he also asked about Messi and Ronaldo. The £500 Mil fee was agreed but they said no to the £25K a week wages........

But what can £8million really buy you in terms of quality in midfield and in the forward positions?
As Moist says, reports suggest Wenger may well have tried very hard to procure the sort of players he claimed to be after, but, as ever, we were unable to push through on any of the deals.
The January transfer window can be a very slow market in terms of signing quality players.

We lie iin an age now where you generally have to shell out the money to get the best players.
Sure, occasionally you get lucky (like Michu at Swansea for example).
But at the top end of the game, the money teams have changed the transfer market, almost to the point where it's on it's head!
Like I say, there are exceptions, but you want the best, you pay the going rate!
I you have a limited budget that you have to stick to, it's harder than ever!

The thing is, we used to pay the going rate. We paid £15million for players 10-15 years ago which was a LOT of money.

True, very true. But we were always just that tier under Utd and then Chelsea (when they got rich). Wenger and the scouting network had the knack of finding these gems. Be them potential young talent, or a world star in the making who has gone under the radar.
It's so difficult to do that these days.
Arsenal have some very good players and a handful of potentially brilliant players. But for that team to challenge and go to the next level (imo) they need probably 4 or 5 ESTABLISHED, proven players.
First hurdle is accepting that. The second is having the willingness to spend money (speculate to hopefully accumulate) and adopt an aggressive transfer policy.
