Having had what could be described as a poor pre-season, news coming out of Anfield is that talismanic Stevie Me is crocked again, possibly a career ender to boot.
I wonder whether the 'mickeys' will re align their seasons expectations, from deluded to sensible, ie somewhere between 14th and 8th.
No captain, Andy Carroll having a mare, even some Scousers are thinking he's not that good!
I'll stick my neck out and predict they will finish 8th, at best.....
