I see John Still has been linked to luton town to become manager and Tisdale to Swindon Town.I just wonder how long it will be before Gaz is circled by the vultures and if he would bolt at the first offer that comes along.Thoughts please gentlemen.

I have just been washing up and listening to that news on Radio 5 Mr Emnez. I thought exactly the same as you have.
Still is Daggers through and through and yet he wants to go. To football managers it is often about the challenge.
I wasn't sure about the appointment of GR and that wasn't helped when he lost (badly) many of his games towards the end of last season. Since then I have been totally and utterly proved wrong.
It got to the stage on Saturday when I was thinking about players who might leave in the summer. I shrugged my shoulders and thought 'No problem, Mr Rowett and Mr Summerfield will just find a decent replacement'.

I will hold my hands up as well Otep i was against Gaz getting the job as well.As things are going so well for him at the moment i certainly think clubs will come sniffing around and Gaz will have big ambitions and i dont think anything will stop him.IS HE ON A CONTRACT NOW ??

No, according to this article.

I was of exactly the same opinion regarding Gary Rowett getting the job but his backroom appointments and player recruitment have been excellent and he is certainly doing well. Agree with you Otep about replacements as i was thinking along those lines on Saturday too.
On the plus side i don't think a contract will be forthcoming as that is how we work and i wouldn't expect any approaches for at least 12 months, i see Gary as loyal though, in the Clough mold and don't imagine he is in a rush to leave. Obviously at some time in the future a situation at one of his previous clubs may arise and that may be too big an oppurtunity for him to turn down.

I like the rest of you gentlemen was very dubious about how good Gaz would be as a manager. I now think however that we have a great management team, proven by the number of players that are wanting to come to the club, the one's who've been recruited, our League position and better style of playing.
As to whether he will leave us in the future, yes one day, but not for a while I hope.

You have got a good management team, your results prove that beyond any doubt.
Regarding Paul Tisdale, I hope he is the one to succeed the mercurial (and mad) Canioman. We're rudderless at the moment.
